teamUBL team members are led by an experienced team leader and participate in many different activities in villages, schools and orphanages. As an international volunteer team member, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with our local partners to contribute to their project completion and success while developing long-lasting relationships with the people you meet.

We send teams to Unboxed Communities at different times of the year, so you have options when it comes to picking a departure date. We provide training through detailed documentation and a structured series of conference calls prior to your trip. We handle all of your trip arrangements (including your flights) so you can focus on fundraising and preparation.

We encourage each international volunteer to raise the money for their trip fee instead of paying out of pocket so that other people can get involved and so you can bring awareness to the situation in the countries we work in.

The Unboxed Lives International Volunteer trip fee covers:

  1. Great communications and multi-session conference call team training prior to departure
  2. All private ground transportation throughout your international stay
  3. US team leader/guide to assist you on the ground
  4. Experienced local hosts and interpreters
  5. In-field orientation by our local staff
  6. All hotel, guest house and/or village accommodations, including meals and accompanying drinks
  7. Skilled, experienced local drivers
  8. Bottled water for the duration of your stay
  9. Project funds to help defray expenses for projects/groups your team will partner with
